Crafters

Apprentice - From age 12 and up.
Journeyman/woman - 5 to 7 turns after beginning apprenticeship.
Master - 8 to 10 turns after becoming a journeyman/woman.
Craftmaster - 5 to 7 turns after becoming a master.

Candidates

Starting at 12 turns, usually weyrbred children.
Starting at 14 turns, usually hold and hall children.
~*~ Exceptions can always be made but NO candidate will stand if they are under the age of 12 turns. Most candidates will not stand until they are 14 or 15 turns of age. ~*~
To 21 turns for all colors except gold.
Gold dragonets tend to impress older candidates from 16 to 25 turns of age.

Riders

*Graduated weyrlings can range from 14 to 27 turns. Most weyrlings will be between 18 and 22 turns of age. No rider will be assigned into a fighting wing until the rider had reached 16 turns. Any full rider under that age will be assigned firestone conveying duties.
*Senior Weyrwoman will be no younger then 27 turns and the Weyrwoman's 2nd shall not be younger then 21 turns. Other goldriders may range any age.
*Wingleaders must be of 21 turns and 5 turns riding experience. Wingseconds can be of any age but must have at least 4 turns riding experience. Wingthirds can be of any age but must have at least 3 turns riding experience.
*Weyrlingmaster must be at least 30 turns and have no less then 10 turns experience as a rider. Weyrlingmaster's 2nd can be any age but must have 8 turns of more riding experience. Any other Weyrlingmaster's assistants can be of any age but must have at least 5 turns riding experience.
*Candidatemaster must be at least 30 turns and be experience with candidates and candidate training. Any candidatemaster assistant should be at least 20 turns and have some experience with candidate training.
*Searchriders, Weyrleader, and Watchriders have no age requirements. Searchriders are chosen by their dragon's abilities not their age. Weyrleader is chosen by the senior queen and can be any bronzerider or brownrider in the weyr. Watchriders are usually assigned there as punishment or upon request. They can be of any age and of any color dragon.

Weyr Support Staff

*Headwoman (female) must be at least 25 turns and served as Headwoman's assistant for 2 turns. Headwoman's assistant must be at least 18 turns.
*Steward (male) must be at least 27 turns and served as Steward's assistant for 2 turns. Steward's assistant must be at least 20 turns.
*Captain of the Guard must be at least 30 turns and been a guard for more than 10 turns. Captain's Second must be at least 25 turns and been a guard for more than 6 turns.

Holders

*Lord and Lady holders must be at least 18 turns. This is the extreme lowest and will only be allowed if there is a very good history behind it. Most Lords will take over when their father has passed away or stepped down. The incoming Lord will mostly likely be no younger than 28 turns.
*Headwoman (female) must be at least 23 turns and served as Headwoman's assistant for 2 turns. Headwoman's assistant must be at least 16 turns.
*Steward (male) must be at least 25 turns and served as Steward's assistant for 2 turns. Steward's assistant must be at least 18 turns.
*Captain of the Guard must be at least 27 turns and been a guard for more than 10 turns. Captain's Second must be at least 22 turns and been a guard for more than 6 turns.
